Governance Agreement Information Session – Parry Sound

The Restoration of Jurisdiction Department of the Anishinabek Nation will be holding an information session on the Anishinabek Nation Governance Agreement, including information about the kinds of laws that the Agreement will recognize, information about the new proposed funding arrangements, information about the voting period and how you can vote.
There will also be a presentation on the Anishinabek Nation Governance Agreement, what’s in it, and there will be presentations on the funding offer from Canada and the voting process. This is an opportunity for Anishinabek First Nation citizens to ask questions about the Agreement and pick up information
We encourage all Anishinabek First Nation citizens to come out and learn more about the Anishinabek Nation Governance Agreement which will be voted on from August – November 2019.
Location: Parry Sound Friendship Centre – 13 Bowes Street
