Canadian Indigenous Cognitive Assessment Training

The Anishinabek Nation is hosting a free, two-day workshop on how to use the CICA tool. The CICA is a cognitive assessment tool developed with First Nations communities on Manitoulin Island that may help to identify suspected dementia in older First Nations adults.
An interactive training session for:
Home-care nursing staff
Front line health workers
Mental wellness team members
Personal Support Workers
Social Workers
Home & Community Support Staff
And those who work directly with older adults
