The vision of the Anishinabek Nation

Bill C-61, the Anishinabek Nation Education Agreement (ANEA) Act, was introduced in the House of Commons by Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs, on October 5, 2017.  This is the first step in the ANEA Act becoming law and effectively realizing the Nation’s vision of having an education system for Anishinabek students.  23 Anishinabek Nation First Nations are participants to the Agreement.
